nice quote..
It's not enough to have lived. We should be determined to live for something. May I suggest that it be creating joy for others, sharing what we have for the betterment of personkind, bringing hope to the lost and love to the lonely. --Leo Buscaglia
4 Must DO Tips For Success
1. Prepare Your Mind.
Your environment, or perhaps the place where you live and work, has much more of an effect on you than you realize. Two cases to illustrate this. When people live in an atmosphere of cleaning fluids and polish, it’s been shown to make them considerably more tidy and clean. This is reliable research.
Another thing that researchers have shown us is that if you have pictures of modern art on your walls, it forces people’s creative juices to flow more freely. Now personally, I can’t stand modern art, but the researchers have found that the subliminal effect of it does make people more creative.
Just as a quick aside, a friend of mine many years ago in England, an accomplished artist, was giving a showing of his work. He really was superb, but there was one picture there entitled; ‘Figures In The Fog.’ It consisted of a grey wash, with three darker grey stripes in the middle, representing a husband, wife and child.
I said; “John. How do you have the cheek to put that old rubbish up?”
“Shut up, Mike,” he hissed. “Two people want it and the bidding’s up to seventy pounds!” Now that’s creative — in its own way!
2. Watch Stereotypes.
Research has also shown us that people exposed to words and pictures can be influenced by them. A group of young people were shown pictures of elderly people, together with words like ‘frailty,’ ‘old age,’ ‘illness,’ etc. It was found afterwards that they walked considerably more slowly.
Another test was for a group to imagine people who looked intelligent; professors, academics, etc. Another group was told to imagine soccer thugs. The ones who imagined the soccer thugs scored much lower on the I.Q. test.
3. Go Green!
It’s been an established fact for years that people heal more quickly in hospital if they have a view of nature outside their window.
In another study carried out over eight months, it was found that if potted plants and flowers were introduced to an office environment, the creative levels of both male and female employees rose by 15%.
4. Make The Connection!
When we see an example in life or nature and apply it to something completely different, so arriving at a clever solution, that’s creativity at work at its best. Examples would include, Velcro, cats’ eyes on the road and the sewing machine.

bad news in 2010
Nokia Siemens Networks now targets acquisition of Motorola’s public carrier wireless network infrastructure assets in first quarter of 2011.
Who made Android ?
This is not who is the “best” person. This is who is someone who made a major impact – positive or negative.
Rishi Chandra of Google was nominated because he represents the next major step in Android’s evolution: HD lifestyle. Google TV launched with a whimper but could be a big bang by next year.
Peter Chou of HTC was nominated because he leads the company that continues to release industry-leading devices. HTC started the superphone era early this year, and continues to push the boundaries.
Cyanogen of Team Douche was nominated because his team’s ROM’s and innovations made rooting hard to pass up. Whether you have a Nexus One or G1, there’s a good chance you’re running CyanogenMod.
Ralph de la Vega of AT&T was nominated because his decisions affect how Android performs on nation’s second biggest carrier. Friend or foe? Who knows, but the decision affects Android in a big way.
Mikael Hed of Rovio was nominated because his company produced Angry Birds, the year’s biggest game. The Finnish business exec. is directly involved in something that crosses millions of screens each day.
Sanjay Jha of Motorola was nominated because he led one of Android’s most prolific and controversial phone makers. Motorola has big sales and makes moves that affect a large group of people.
Omar Khan of Samsung was nominated because he helped the company bounce back and deliver its best year in Android yet. Samsung became the top Android seller in the U.S., thanks in part to Khan.
The MIUI Team were nominated for creating a new Android ROM that delivers the platform in a manner unlike any seen before it. A team of Chinese developers sparked quite a movement this year.
Andy Rubin was nominated because he runs the show at Google HQ as it pertains to Android. He started the whole thing and continues to steer the ship on a daily basis.
Rohan Shravan of Notion Ink was nominated because he showed how Android can make a small player get into the big game. But is the little start-up that could good enough to be called APOTY?

my bike "LA SOVEREIGN" seat's story
I purchased bike "LA SOVEREIGN" almost 3 months back to reduce my weight :-)( which i gained during my Business Travel to Taiwan in the month of July 2010. I am daily using it to go to office( thus saving 20 Rs a day, 100 a week and....). Saving doesn't matters in this case, important thing is so called exercise, where i am so much lazy in doing it daily :). bye the way, after this chilled season , i am goonna start Swimming ( this was too in my TODO list from long time,but cycling helps me to take this action soon. C'on Akshay Keep it up).
So here is my bike looks like...

Original picture will be uploaded soon.
But yesterday, when i came from my native and was about to go to office, i got a big shock. someone steal my bike's seat. I felt so much upset. Gave some "Gaali" to my owner and blah blah...Entire day was horrible. I was checking with my bike shopkeeper about its specs and price( almost called 2 to 3 times)..
And finally today came to know that someone from my neighbor Aunt's kid stole it and return it today morning. I feel like I'm on Cloud 9....!
Sometime i feel i got so much of happiness even from the small thing..that's how i am.!
Aim is : To Promote bicycling and its benefits to save earth

10 Life Lessons I've Learned in My First 30 Years
Life Lesson #1 – Let it go.
Anger is never just anger. Anger is a cover up for fear, hurt, or disappointment. I can’t tell you the number of days I stressed myself out in my 20’s because I was angry at another person and did not want to forgive them. I literally made myself sick over it. The ironic thing about anger is that the joke is on the angry person. When your angry, it hurts you more because you have to spend your precious time and energy holding on to negative energy. Sadly, that negative energy often blocks the positive energy from coming into your life. So let it go so that you can let that positive light in.
Appreciate the person that you're angry with and learn to live with them the way they are. If someone is constantly upsetting you, appreciate the fact that you are strong enough to disassociate yourself from them. You don't need to stick around!
Life Lesson #2 – It’s really not about you.
When loved ones, co-workers, or even strangers say and do hurtful things, many times it is really not about you. People in this world have some serious issues. And, because they don’t deal with their issues, they project those issues onto you. The mother who thinks she is the worst mom will project and tell another mom how bad their kid is. The teen who thinks she is ugly will project and make fun of another teen. The boss who can’t manage his team will try to micromanage your work. So the next time someone does something hurtful to you, remember two things, they act like that towards other people as well, and it’s not about you!!
Life Lesson #3 – Others have gone through the same problems that you have today.
This is one I am still working on because I am a pretty private person. But I have to believe that when you go through things, one of the main reasons is to help others at one point and time through the same obstacle. The problem is that everyone wants to put on the mask that their life is grand, secretly hiding away any perfections. If no one knows your true journey, they can’t seek you out for help. It’s not an easy thing to do; it’s not like your Uncle Joe shouts out to everyone ‘Hey Everyone, I’m in foreclosure, now let’s eat.’ BUT, if he did, he would attract others that have been through the same experience, and could change a life for the better.
Life Lesson #4 – Enjoy it now.
As I look back at my last 29 years of life, there were so many special moments that came and went. I wish I would of sat back and enjoyed the moments more. Absorb the good times because they are the first things you forget.
Life Lesson #5 – Power of Persistence
There is something about the power of daily focused effort that seems to be a common theme in successful people. It’s the difference between ball players and NBA players, the difference between a writer and an author. While everyone else is watching TV the ‘persisters’ are making daily deposits towards the life of their dreams. Are you? When I look back, the times that I felt most accomplished were when I applied daily effort towards a goal and achieved it.
Life Lesson #6 – I get it now when people talk about having passion as a requirement for excellence.
If you want to excel as a fashion designer, working towards that goal should generally win over other other distractions. When presented with the opportunity to watch TV or hang out with friends instead of working to, if you constantly choose those distractions over working on fashion, you must consider that fashion is not your passion. I am not saying that you can't relax, but I'm saying that before you choose a life goal or a 'passion', be sure it's something that you, in your heart, really enjoy and love doing.
Life Lesson #7 – Relationships can be your greatest teacher.
I feel that everyone should do a lessons learned exercise after each relationship AND after every couple of years in a marriage. Each relationship is a reflection of yourself (whether good or bad). Subconsciously it’s a reflection of our deepest insecurities and needs. And if you really take the time to reflect the good or bad times, it is a window into your soul. Taking the time to review your past will be time well spent.
Life Lesson #8– Don’t sleep on the power of the internet
There are thousands upon thousands of people making a good amount of money online. The BEST thing about online business is that is has no face. So you can no longer say your being judged by your race, background, lack of a degree, etc. The internet levels the playing field. Quality content speaks louder than your religion, skin color, etc. Start looking into the power of it today.
Life Lesson #9 – Don’t be a“put off’ person.
I spent many years putting off things because I was waiting for the situation to get better or for 'something' to happen first. News Flash – I bet you can think of a hundred reasons to keep living how you are today and not changing; SOMETHING will always be in the way or be a reason to delay. Don’t put off your happiness. If you can do something that makes you happy today, without ruining the lives of others, then do it.
Life Lesson #10 – What you say/write is your own lesson.
As I write to you, I write to myself because what comes out of us either verbally or in the written form is often the thing very thing that we (ourselves) need to work on.

Bill Gates speech: 11 rules your kids did not and will not learn in school

Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!
Rule 2: The world doesn't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3: You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.
Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

nice hello message from Googol
We like creating growth. We love to roll up our sleeves and exploit opportunities hands-on. No matter if it entails identifying new concepts for blue chip companies, thoroughly transforming an entrepreneurial business or crafting an innovation system for a mid-size corporation. It's not rocket science. It's talent and hard work

Happy Engineer’s Day
Engineering is not merely knowing and being knowledgeable, like a walking encyclopedia; engineering is not merely analysis; engineering is not merely the possession of the capacity to get elegant solutions to non-existent engineering problems; engineering is practicing the art of the organized forcing of technological change... Engineers operate at the interface between science and society..."

30 Business Lessons I Learned Before 30
* Journey of a thousand miles, starts with one step. Action is what counts so, take action, even if its not a very significant progress towards your business, this step would get the ball rolling. Do it.
* Solving a problem or filling a gap is the only way to entrepreneurship. Be a good observer. Look at the current players and their services, interview a few customers and identify a problem or issue with current product and service. Then, solve it.
* KISS – Keep it simple, stupid. No matter what you do, nothing beats simple, be it a business plan or an email communication or anything in between. Staying simple would make you far more efficient and save a lot of time, headache and money too.
* Help comes where you expect it the least from. So, network. Talk to anyone and everyone, tell them about your business when they ask what you do, soon you’ll master your business pitch and be connected to lots of people.
* The “right time” is a delusion. Tell me about one thing you did in perfect time…Perfect timing doesn’t exist. It’s either now or never. What’s your pick?
* Don’t Try to do it all by yourself. No one can. So learn the art of delegation and outsourcing.
* Don’t Fall in love with your idea. This one is the most important because you don’t want to blindfold yourselves to the feasibility part of the business. A business in order to be profitable has to be feasible and sustainable.
* Not everyone is as excited about your business as you are. Yes, and that includes your friends and family. So, try to gauge the interest level of people before you ask them for partnership and/or any help.
* For entrepreneurs, failure doesn’t exist; it is mistakes. Not everything you do is going to be a success so, learn to learn from mistakes and make the best use of that experience to turn it into a success next time. Remember, the only difference between losers and winners is that losers quit when they fail, winners fail until they win.
* Always have a plan B. Plan B, according to me is Plan B(est). Not everything you plan would work out the way you planned simply because there are way too many micro and macro elements in business and market that are out of your control.
* A business needs a plan to be successful. You don’t need to write a 100 page business plan to dust on your shelf, but you need to jot down a quick and actionable plan to guide you through the process. Yes, you need a business plan, even if you are not seeking loans or investment.
* A business needs a system to be successful: A business without a system is merely a job you’ve bought for yourself. You’d still be trading hours for dollars and would stay in a rat race unless you build a system to scale your venture.
* Learn to say ‘No’: Enough said!
* Avoid business with your “friends”: Be very careful in setting up expectations if you’re working with friends. You don’t want to ruin a good relationship/ friendship for anything. So, make sure you keep the communication open and transparent, avoid polarization at any cost, appreciate (express that you do) the help, and most importantly try to manage and not boss around.
* Partner with friends: Although contradicting to lesson#14 (above) Avoid business with your “friends”, a friend in need is a friend indeed. This is very important, friends who stood by me when I was in need, made me realize how fortunate I was to have them as my friends and I knew I could count on them. Make sure you don not put them on test again and be there when they might need you.
* Don’t fritter the earnings right away: Save for the rainy day, save for the shiny day… You have no idea how wildly your cash flow may fluctuate in a startup setting so, set aside some savings to fund those dry days or weeks.
* Money matters: You are in it for money, make sure you make money. Changing the world is great, doing what you love is great, but check the financial viability or sustainability for the idea otherwise you won’t be able to do it long enough for the first two reasons.
* Money does NOT matter: May sound contradictory to the #17 above but it is not. If you’re in it ONLY for money you’ll be outrun sooner than you could imagine, do something because it solves a problem, it fills a gap, it makes a difference and not just for quick buck.
* Never Lie: It’s a small world, be truthful, because a lie has a very short life and it will not help you get far enough…
* Luck favors the bold: As an entrepreneur, it is a practice to get out and make luck work for you and the only way to do it is hard work and bold moves.
* A big goal is only achieved when every little thing that you do everyday, gets you closer to that goal…
* There’s a big difference in giving up and changing directions. Be savvy and sensible enough to realize if something is not working you need to change the direction. And the fact that you’ve to change the direction doesn’t mean you failed or that you’re giving up.
* Ignore the naysayers: Oh these guys are idiots, in most cases these are the guys who never did anything themselves and they want to keep the rest of the world just like them. When you see a naysayer, just look at him and ask yourself, do you want to be like him. If yes, follow what he’s saying and if the answer was ‘no’, ignore the guy and stay away from him.
* A coach is necessary. I once heard a wise man say “we are so immersed in doing what we are doing and what we think is right, that we miss the obvious”. And a coach helps you not miss that obvious and hence succeed.
* Accept faults: Accepting a fault is the best way to deal with the situation. You can either keep wasting your time and brain on arguing a fault or you can accept it and move on. I have gained more respect whenever I have said, “I stand corrected”.
* Accept criticism and act on it: Listening is very important and especially to those who are thoughtful enough to give you constructive criticism. It is easy and pretty ego inflating when everyone is telling you how awesome you are but make sure the constructive criticism never goes unheard.
* Writing helps. Write your goals, reminders, tasks, dreams, plans, write everything. Writing helps your sub-conscious program our mind in much a better way than if you just keep thinking of those.
* Dreams are always out of comfort zone, so you need to step out of it.
* Sow the seeds of opportunity. You know the old saying, do a good deed every day; I have a similar philosophy about opportunities. Make sure you seed at least one opportunity a day, it could be searching and connecting with a potential client or it could be connecting two people in your network who you think can benefit from each other’s connection, or anything these are seeds of opportunities, they’ll fruit in future.
* Learning never stops. I love to learn and share what I learn. Please take a minute or two share your lessons and help me learn more
* Solving a problem or filling a gap is the only way to entrepreneurship.

Modern thought- A rolling stone gathers more moss!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Robin Singh holds an MBA with specialization in HR from a prestigious university in India. He is 46 years old and is the human resource head of a mid-size company in Faridabad. The company manufactures automotive spare parts and has 120 employees on its rolls. Robin joined this company when he was 26 and has been with the company for the last 20 years; never having changed his job. He worked his way up the ladder and today he commands a salary of Rs 16 lakh per annum.
Robin Singh always thought he had done well in life until one day when saw his one-time protégé Rehan Raz.
Singh was nominated to attend a one-day workshop titled: Appraisals using Balance Score Card. The speaker turned out to be Rehan Raz who had taken his first job as an executive trainee in the HR department some 14 years ago. Singh was the manager - industrial relations then and had taken Raz under his wing. Raz quit the company after working there for 24 months and joined a start-up company as its assistant manager - HR.
Within a span of 14 years, Raz had changed four jobs. He worked in his second job for two years before he shifted to a Fortune 500 company as head of HR- Northern Region. He stayed there for four years and then shifted loyalties to a new telecom company as the number three man in the HR setup where he was instrumental in recruiting at least 200 employees at various levels, from sales executive and customer service executives to the city leads and the circle heads and even the chief technical officer and the chief commercial officer. He worked at this company for four years and when a multinational company from the US came to India to set up a car manufacturing unit, Raz again jumped to be the head honcho of this big automobile company.
Raz already has been given two international assignments and has attended several courses in management with his last two companies. He is an authority on "change management" and is a much-sought-after speaker at most HR conferences.
While there's no doubt that Raz is a man of extraordinary brilliance, the fact remains that the exposure that he got in completely different environments made him much more enriched in terms of knowledge and skills gathered over 14 years. In sheer experience he may be six years junior to Singh but in terms of the richness of the experience, he easily scores over Singh.
Today, Raz draws a salary of close to Rs 40 lakh.
The tale of Singh and Raz is not an unusual one. Those who change jobs frequently often tend to be successful managers and are more sought after.
Gone are the days when the companies used to shun CVs which were dotted with too many job changes.
When should you switch jobs?
* It is important to change jobs frequently during the first three years of your career. If you continue on your first job for many years, you tend to get conditioned into that job. One should change jobs frequently for more salary, for diversity of assignment and most importantly to work for companies with good brand equities.
* After the first three years of your career, you should have a better idea of the field in which you want to excel. For instance, you may think that you want to remain in product management but you need to work in an advertising company before you get back to product management in a goods producing company or you want to get into customer services but you are in sales right now. Switch jobs that are diverse so you can learn all there is to about specific or diverse domains.
* After having worked for seven years, you have done much learning (though learning never really stops) and are a near master of your field. You now need to take up challenges and aim at occupying middle-level leadership positions. If these positions aren't available in your organization, you need to switch.
* If you realize that you are ready to take a leadership position and the position is available within your organization but the competition is really stiff and you don't have a realistic chance of making it, start looking for a change.
* Once you have worked for 9-12 years, then you are ready to take the top positions in your chosen field. Now you must to look to get into the organizations that can accept you in a leadership role.
* After assuming the leadership profile, the reason for changing jobs should be massive salary jumps or remarkable career progression in terms of enviable assignments like a "turn-around" assignment or an opportunity to work in foreign markets.
There are advantages too of staying put in one job. These range from the pleasures of inertia to the safe environs of a comfort zone but such professionals eventually lose out.
The Singhs of today are viewed as risk-averse, lacking experience in different settings and even as staid and lacking courage.
Better to be a Rolling Raz than being a Staid Singh. You will gather more moss!!!
Best of Luck

Finally return back to India today
Getting delayed day by day after lots of tactics from Client n and finally i have made it, last but not least..!
After reaching here in my home, its all dusty, no soap to wash face even, no toothpaste, somehow my owner didn't broke the lock and allows other person to stay :-)
Feeling like stagnant, no internet, no outgoing calls...!
Woke up early as my mind clock was set 2 and half hours before, had a nice breakfast, and the most interesting thing was i saw Rava idly in one of the nandini hotel(previously i ate in Bangalore, i love it much....mmmummmmmmhhhhh ). After sometime, thinking of what to do next as i cant clean house or wash my clothes today,thought of going to Voda store to pay bill, somehow reached there and was asking for them why no one is here, its 11:30 AM now, he just gave a BIG laugh and say to check my mobile. i again said its 11:30 AM , After sometime i have realized that i set it to Bankok time :-) :-)..LOL.....

nice quotes....
"It's impossible." said pride.
"It's risky." said experience.
"It's pointless." said reason.
"Give it a try." whispered the heart.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To hope is to risk pain.
To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken
because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some people say "If you can't beat them, join them". I say "If you can't beat them, beat them", because they will be expecting you to join them, so you will have the element of surprise.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space
some quotes!
Every decision you make -- every decision that you make every second -- is not a decision about what to do, it is a decision about who you are. Every act is an act of self-definition. --Neale Donald Walsch
I do not think there is any other quality so essential to success of any kind as the quality of of perseverance. It overcomes almost everything, even nature. --John D. Rockefeller
"कबुतराला गरुडाचे पंख लावता येतील ही., पण गगनभरारीचे वेडं रक्तात असावे लागते... आकाशाची ओढ अशी दत्तक घेता येत नाही...!
Square root of 3
I’m sure that I will always be
A lonely number like root three
The three is all that’s good and right,
Why must my three keep out of sight
Beneath the vicious square root sign,
I wish instead I were a nine
For nine could thwart this evil trick,
with just some quick arithmetic
I know I’ll never see the sun, as 1.7321
Such is my reality, a sad irrationality
When hark! What is this I see,
Another square root of a three
As quietly co-waltzing by,
Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer,
Rejoicing as an integer
We break free from our mortal bonds
With the wave of magic wands
Our square root signs become unglued
Your love for me has been renewed
A lonely number like root three
The three is all that’s good and right,
Why must my three keep out of sight
Beneath the vicious square root sign,
FET office
The most important question in FET office is how to spare a time, installation and ATP was just a task but more imp thing is get familiar with client, understand there need and try to resolve queries raised by them.
Travel Experience on the first visit to client
One the first day to FET office, i got stuck up on the road while seaching client's office.
Driver doesn't even know the address properly and unfortunately client office doesnt have English
name at the front door. He was just roming round and round. Ultimately on the 3rd round he found out
the address and thanks to God, it was correct one (came to know after going inside only :-) )
Today, 16th May i successfully arrived in Taipei, Taiwan. What a country, awesome greeneries, now i wonders why India is not developing so fast. This mesmerizing greeneries make me feel great..! come on Taipei here i am...the way to go.....
After reaching airport the first problem was to find out the taxi driver and it was not difficult at all if you deal people well. I took help from Airport itself instead of catching another Taxi or bus. Driver just came in 5 min and i wonders by seeing the driver, it was She, damn confident,powerful etc. The taxi was AC, Camry worth NT$ 1,100
Trip was amazing and speed was never went down 60 :-) so loved it a much.
After reaching Sheraton feels relaxed, had a nice sleep of 3 hours and full breakfast at 5 PM. Then had nice bath with warm water , went down , tried to get familiar with Chinese culture....etc....
So this is my first day..don't wanted to write much but i cant do much to do time pass so ultimately i have to depend on blogging only. :-) please bare with me for next 45+ days......
10 Amazing Lessons from Albert Einstein
10 Amazing Lessons from Albert Einstein:
Follow Your Curiosity
“I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”
What piques your curiosity? I am curious as to what causes one person to succeed while another person fails; this is why I’ve spent years studying success. What are you most curious about? The pursuit of your curiosity is the secret to your success.
Perseverance is Priceless
“It's not that I'm so smart; it's just that I stay with problems longer.”
Through perseverance the turtle reached the ark. Are you willing to persevere until you get to your intended destination? They say the entire value of the postage stamp consist in its ability to stick to something until it gets there. Be like the postage stamp; finish the race that you’ve started!
Focus on the Present
“Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves.”
My father always says you cannot ride two horses at the same time. I like to say, you can do anything, but not everything. Learn to be present where you are; give your all to whatever you’re currently doing.
Focused energy is power, and it’s the difference between success and failure.
The Imagination is Powerful
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions. Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
Are you using your imagination daily? Einstein said the imagination is more important than knowledge! Your imagination pre-plays your future. Einstein went on to say, “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination.” Are you exercising your “imagination muscles” daily, don’t let something as powerful as your imagination lie dormant.
Make Mistakes
“A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.”
Never be afraid of making a mistake. A mistake is not a failure. Mistakes can make you better, smarter and faster, if you utilize them properly. Discover the power of making mistakes. I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, if you want to succeed, triple the amount of mistakes that you make.
Live in the Moment
“I never think of the future - it comes soon enough.”
The only way to properly address your future is to be as present as possible “in the present.”
You cannot “presently” change yesterday or tomorrow, so it’s of supreme importance that you dedicate all of your efforts to “right now.” It’s the only time that matters, it’s the only time there is.
Create Value
“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value."
Don’t waste your time trying to be successful, spend your time creating value. If you’re valuable, then you will attract success.
Discover the talents and gifts that you possess, learn how to offer those talents and gifts in a way that most benefits others.
Labor to be valuable and success will chase you down.
Don’t Expect Different Results
“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
You can’t keep doing the same thing everyday and expect different results. In other words, you can’t keep doing the same workout routine and expect to look differently. In order for your life to change, you must change, to the degree that you change your actions and your thinking is to the degree that your life will change.
Knowledge Comes From Experience
“Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience.”
Knowledge comes from experience. You can discuss a task, but discussion will only give you a philosophical understanding of it; you must experience the task first hand to “know it.” What’s the lesson? Get experience! Don’t spend your time hiding behind speculative information, go out there and do it, and you will have gained priceless knowledge.
Learn the Rules and Then Play Better
“You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.”
To put it all in simple terms, there are two things that you must do. The first thing you must do is to learn the rules of the game that you’re playing. It doesn’t sound exciting, but it’s vital. Secondly, you must commit to play the game better than anyone else. If you can do these two things, success will be yours!
Follow Your Curiosity
“I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”
What piques your curiosity? I am curious as to what causes one person to succeed while another person fails; this is why I’ve spent years studying success. What are you most curious about? The pursuit of your curiosity is the secret to your success.
Perseverance is Priceless
“It's not that I'm so smart; it's just that I stay with problems longer.”
Through perseverance the turtle reached the ark. Are you willing to persevere until you get to your intended destination? They say the entire value of the postage stamp consist in its ability to stick to something until it gets there. Be like the postage stamp; finish the race that you’ve started!
Focus on the Present
“Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves.”
My father always says you cannot ride two horses at the same time. I like to say, you can do anything, but not everything. Learn to be present where you are; give your all to whatever you’re currently doing.
Focused energy is power, and it’s the difference between success and failure.
The Imagination is Powerful
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions. Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
Are you using your imagination daily? Einstein said the imagination is more important than knowledge! Your imagination pre-plays your future. Einstein went on to say, “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination.” Are you exercising your “imagination muscles” daily, don’t let something as powerful as your imagination lie dormant.
Don't just have career or academic goals. Set goals to give you a
balanced, successful life. I use the word balanced before successful,
Balanced means ensuring your health, relationships, mental peace are all
in good order.
There is no point of getting a promotion on the day of your break-up.
There is no fun in driving a car if your back hurts. Shopping is not
enjoyable if your mind is full of tensions.
"Life is one of those races in nursery school where you have to run with
a marble in a spoon kept in your mouth. If the marble falls, there is no
point coming first.. Same is with life where health and relationships
are the marble. Your striving is only worth it if there is harmony in
your life. Else, you may achieve the success, but this spark, this
feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die.
One thing about nurturing the spark - don't take life seriously. Life is
not meant to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here.
We are like a prepaid card with limited validity. If we are lucky, we
may last another 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends. Do we
really need to get so worked up?
It's ok, bunk a few classes, scoring low in couple of papers, goof up a
few interviews, take leave from work, fall in love, little fights with
your spouse. We are people, not programmed devices.
"Don't be serious, be sincere." Be Happy
God gave us nothing we wanted, He gave us everything we needed.
One of the most miserable day in my life..
its one of the horrible day in my life. My dad lost the card and didn't even dare to inform me or any other member in our family :-(. I just came to know yesterday night at 10.30 from my sister and she came to know from another sister..such a horrible scene ..
never expected :-(.
Dad was not knowing the acc. no or card number even. I was literally unconscious.
Then i called up to sis and asked to check the with Customer care, but that didn't help as Cust. care was asking about Acc number. Now only option left was KAKA. It was very late but no other option. I called up him and he was trying best to get some person in bank and luckily one of his friend was sitting in bank and was about to leave. He helped a lot to block the card..Many many thanks to the guy and kaka both. Somehow balance is correct....!!!!!
5 things to consider before you say 'I quit!'
You get up in the morning and groan at another long day ahead. Somehow the excitement you felt for your job in the beginning has faded. Occasionally it is the monotony of doing the same thing repeatedly that gets to you and at other times you feel there is no challenge in what you do anymore.
You begin to feel unsure of yourself and overwhelmed with a sense of being stuck. You consider your options as you get dressed but nothing flies out at you as the obvious answer. You wonder why? You speculate if it is the new manager who has sucked the joy out of you or is it that you are genuinely bored and ready for a change.
If this scenario is repeating itself in your head day in and day out then it is time to take a snap poll.
Are you ready for a change?
So what would be a good way to assess whether you are ready for a change or not? The following checklist describes some of the feelings and symptoms you might be going through if you are indeed ready.
You are beginning to feel frustrated at being stuck in the job. You are being asked to repeatedly use the same skills and not being given an opportunity to develop new expertise. Will they ever give you the next promotion? Talk to your superior and see what the grand plan is.
Your boss micro manages you and is stifling your creativity and independence. Your boss may be straight out of Devil Wears Prada and then it is probably the time to type out those joyful words "I quit" or just stand up and take a stand.
Politics amongst colleagues is just not your cup of tea. Sucking up is given more importance than doing good quality work. Back-stabbing is the norm. If the personalities are just not meshing then sometimes it is simpler to move on.
Your salary is far lower than what you think another company might be willing to offer.
Very low interest in your job. You are really there to just earn your salary. The skills you use at your job do not excite you at all. You catch yourself daydreaming (all the time) about other different kinds of things you could be doing.
These are just some indications that things at work are not going as well as they should in your professional life and it may be time for a change or a re-evaluation.
But before you decide to put in your papers, consider these important aspects:
Learning cycle complete
The first thing to think about, anytime you are thinking of a change, is whether you have learnt all that you could have learn from this present job. Extracting maximum learning out of a situation is paramount before opting for a change. Another point to ponder is whether moving on will also mean moving up in life.
Change is a double-edged sword. It can be used as an escapist measure or it can be used as a tool for transformation. Ideally you would like to use a move or a change as an opportunity for a make-over. It would be a pity to throw a good opportunity away just because you are going through a temporary dip.
Penny wise, pound foolish
If you are thinking about moving just because of salary and promotion aspects then definitely talk to your boss first and see if something can be worked out mutually. Some people, I notice change jobs without any major purpose except to earn a little bit more. There is documented evidence that changing jobs is a means of financial gain but it is so only in the short term.
If you are looking to build a career in any specific area then sticking to a job for several years is a good way to consolidating your learning and growth. Don't fritter away your chances of a promotion and growth in a company for a petite salary difference.
Reality check -- do you have what it takes?
What type of skills will help you get that dream job? A good way to assess this is by looking at job advertisements over a period of time to get a sense of what is needed. You could also talk to experienced people and gain from their knowledge about what they look for when they are recruiting people in their company. The vast majority of factual data relating to this issue is in the public domain and hence easy to access.
Reinforce your resume
The next question that you need to address is whether your present qualifications are adequate for the direction you would like your career to take. If not, then you need to be looking at what kinds of further qualifications you can possibly acquire to add that extra zing to your resume.
Let us take Poonam Mehta's* track record for instance. She is enjoying her job, she is well liked in her office and yet she feels a certain lack of challenge in her day-to-day existence in the office. She feels that she has maxed her potential for learning in the current job. She was hired in the sales division and she is good at marketing and meeting her targets. But now yeh dil mange more!
She wants to work in areas of strategy, brand-building and brand awareness. The management, however, felt she just did not have the background to perform well in those areas. Poonam after much weighing of pros and cons decided that she needed an additional degree before she would come back to work in that sector. She decided to apply to the UK for a degree in Innovation and Enterprise which focused on brand management, consumer behaviour thus propelling her career in the same field forward.
Different strokes for different folks
No matter how caught up we are with Potter-mania, we all know that a magic wand is really not going to transform our lives. We are the architects of our own future. We all get one life and a fixed set of opportunities to actualise our potential, transform our lives and infuse it with growth and learning.
So a good analysis of where you are, where you want to be and you will get there is needed every few years to ensure that your life and career are moving in a directed fashion. Personal and professional transformations are in your hands and it is a matter of making precise choices that can propel you upwards in your career track.
Love quotes..!
"Love is sometimes denied, sometimes lost, sometimes unrecognized, but in the end, always found with no regrets, forever valued and kept treasured."
"Love won't be tampered with, love won't go away. Push it to one side and it creeps to the other." Louise Erdrich
"I have never met a person whose greatest need was anything other than real, unconditional love. You can find it in a simple act of kindness toward someone who needs help. There is no mistaking love. You feel it in your heart. It is the common fiber of life, the flame that heals our soul, energizes our spirit and supplies passion to our lives. It is our connection to God and to each other." Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
"Love is just an abbreviation for everything we have ever wanted to say about that one person who truly means something to us, all wrapped up in a tiny four-letter box". Anonymous
Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice but falling in love with you I had no control over.
If you judge people, you have no time to love them.
To the world you are one person, but to one person you are the world.
I know what you want. And I know what you need. But I'm gonna screw it up, yeah, cause I'm an idiot. And I'm your boyfriend.
"There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved."
"My heart is ever at your service."
माझी निवड चुकली तर नाही ना?
एका सेमिनारमध्ये एका महिलेने प्रश्न केला, "मी जीवनसाथी निवडण्यात चुकले तर नाही ना हे मला कसे काय कळेल?". वक्ते महाशयांनी तिच्याकडे पाहिले. त्यांच्या लक्षात आले की तिच्या शेजारी बसलेले गृहस्थ हे बरेच स्थूल दिसत होते. वक्ते महाशयांनी प्रश्न केला, "तुमच्या शेजारी बसलेले गृहस्थ हेच तुमचे जीवनसाथी आहेत काय?" अत्यंत गंभीरपणे तिने उत्तर दिले," तुम्ही कसे काय ओळखले?" वक्ते महाशय उत्तरले,"तुमच्या पहिल्या प्रश्नाचे उत्तर मला आधी देऊ द्या. कारण त्या प्रश्नामुळे तुम्ही खरोखर खूप अस्वस्थ आहात असे दिसतेय. तुमच्या प्रश्नाचे उत्तर असे आहे.
प्रत्येक नात्याचे एक चक्र (सायकल) असते. सुरूवातीला तुम्ही तुमच्या साथीदाराच्या प्रेमात पडता. तुम्ही त्याच्या फोन्सची वाट पाहता, त्याच्या स्पर्शाची इच्छा धरता, त्याच्या आवडींवर सवयींवर प्रेम करता. प्रेमात पडणे मुळीच कठीण नसते. खरं तर तो एक पूर्णपणे नैसर्गिक आणि उत्स्फूर्त असा अनुभव असतो. प्रेमात पडण्यासाठी तुम्हाला वेगळे असे काही करायचेच नसते. म्हणून तर त्याला प्रेमात 'पडणे' असे म्हणतात. प्रेमात असणारी माणसं त्यांच्या अवस्थेचं वर्णन करताना कधी कधी म्हणतात, "I was swept off my feet" हे जे वर्णन आहे ते जरा दृश्य स्वरूपात बघण्याचा प्रयत्न करून बघा. त्याचा अर्थ असा लागतो की तुम्ही आपले तुमचे तुमचे उभे होता, काहीही न करता आणि अचानक तुमच्या बाबतीत काही तरी घडले.
प्रेमात पडणे हा एक उत्स्फूर्त आणि passive असा अनुभव आहे. पण परस्परांसोबत काही महिने अथवा वर्षे काढल्यानंतर प्रेमाची धुंदी ओसरू लागते. प्रत्येक नात्याचे हे असेच नैसर्गिक असे सायकल असते. हळूहळू फोन कॉल्स (अद्यापही येत असतील तर) कंटाळवाणे वाटू लागतात. स्पर्श हवाहवासा वाटेनासा होतो. तुमच्या साथीदाराच्या सवयी-आवडी, ज्या तुम्हाला सुद्धा आवडत असत, आता तुमचे डोके उठवू लागतात. नाते या अवस्थेला पोहोचल्याची लक्षणे प्रत्येक नात्यागणिक वेगवेगळी असतात. तुम्ही जेव्हा प्रेमात पडला त्या वेळेची अवस्था आणि नंतरची किंवा सध्याची ही कंटाळवाणी किंवा संतापजनक अवस्था - या दोन्हीमध्ये जमीन अस्मानाचा फरक असल्याचे तुम्हास जाणवते. या ठिकाणी कदाचित तुमच्या किंवा तुमच्या साथीदाराच्या मनात हा प्रश्न उभा राहतो की माझी निवड चुकली तर नाही ना? तुम्ही अनुभवलेली प्रेमाची धुंदी तुम्हाला जेव्हा जेव्हा आठवते तेव्हा, अन्य कोणाबरोबर का होईना, पण आपल्याला ती नशा पुन्हा एकदा अनुभवायला मिळावी असे तुम्हास वाटू लागते. आणि ह्या वेळी नाती तुटायला लागतात.
नात्यात यशस्वी व्हायचं असेल किंवा ते शाबूत ठेवायचं असेल तर त्याची एकच गुरुकिल्ली आहे. नात्यासाठी योग्य व्यक्तीची निवड करणे ही ती गुरुकिल्ली नव्हे. तर जी व्यक्ती तुम्ही निवडलीत तिच्यावर प्रेम करणे ही ती गुरूकिल्ली आहे. The key to succeeding in a relationship is not finding the right person; it's learning to love the person you found.
आपण दु:खात आहोत याला जवाबदार आपला जीवनसाथी आहे असे लोक समजतात आणि वैवाहिक संबंधांच्या बाहेर आनंद शोधायला जातात. विवाहबाह्य संबंध हे सर्व रंगा रुपांत बघायला मिळतात. अनैतिक संबंध हे त्याचे एक सर्वात कॉमन रूप आहे. पण बरेचदा लोक अन्य मार्गांकडेही वळतात.
स्वत:ला कामामध्ये, एखाद्या छंदामध्ये, मित्रांच्या घोळक्यात गुंतवून घेणे, किंवा बेसुमार टीव्ही पाहणं अथवा नशापाणी करणं. पण त्यांच्या समस्येचं उत्तर लग्न संबंधांच्या बाहेर उपलब्धं नसतंच. ते तर घरातच उपलब्ध असतं. तुम्ही दुस-या कुणाच्या प्रेमात पडूच शकत नाही असं मला म्हणायचं नाहिये. पडू शकता आणि त्यामुळे तुम्हाला काही काळाकरिता छान सुद्धा वाटू शकतं. पण काही वर्षानंतर तुम्ही, आज आहात त्याच परिस्थितीमध्ये असाल.
कारण (हे लक्षपूर्वक ऐका) : एखाद्या नात्यामध्ये यशस्वी होण्याची गुरुकिल्ली - जीवनसाथी म्हणून योग्य व्यक्ती निवडणे ही नसून जी व्यक्ती तुम्ही निवडलीत तिच्यावरच प्रेम करायला शिकणे - ही आहे.
