Determine the operating system bit count
Locate the operating system that is running on your computer in this section, and then follow the steps to determine the bit count of your operating system.
Windows XP
If you have Windows XP, there are two methods to determine whether you are running a 32-bit or a 64-bit version. If one does not work, try the other.
Method 1: View System Properties in Control Panel
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. Type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK.
3. Click the General tab. The operating system is displayed as follows:
* For a 64-bit version operating system: Windows XP Professional x64 Edition Version < Year> appears under System.
* For a 32-bit version operating system: Windows XP Professional Version appears under System.
Note is a placeholder for a year.

Wake-On-LAN
Simple Java Implementation of Wake-on-LAN
Wake-on-LAN is fantastic. It lets you turn on a computer via the network, which is great when you need to turn on your home machine while you're at work. Most PCs these days support Wake-on-LAN.
If your network socket still shows a green light after you've shut down computer, it probably supports Wake-on-LAN. The motherboard uses a small amount of power to monitor network traffic and look for special Wake-on-LAN packets. If it sees one, it will power up the system as if you had just pressed the on switch.
Creating a Wake-on-LAN packet
Some people are surprised how difficult it is to find out how to create a Wake-on-LAN packet. There are a few oddities about it, sure, but this guide will hopefully explain what you need to do. I'll show you how to create a simple Java program that sends a Wake-on-LAN packet to wake up a specified machine. This program can easily be translated into other languages, but Java offers the platform independence which is useful in a networked environment.
UDP and MAC addresses
A Wake-on-LAN packet is an ordinary UDP packet which contains the MAC address of the target computer. For reasons unknown to me, the UDP packet must be 16 times larger than the byte representation of the MAC address, plus an extra 6 bytes for a header. A MAC address is usually specified as a string of hexadecimal digits, for example 00:0D:61:08:22:4A, so can be represented using just 6 bytes. This makes the total packet size 6 + 16*6 = 102 bytes.
The first 6 bytes of the packet are filled with 0xff. I'm not sure why!
The next 6 bytes are the MAC address of the target computer
Each subsequent set of 6 bytes is also filled with the MAC address of the target computer, until the packet is full.
Sending the Magic Packet
The UDP packet is sent to a broadcast address, such as 192.168.0.255. This will cause it to be received by all computers on your local LAN, but only those with a matching MAC address will respond by powering on. MAC addresses are associated with each network interface and are typically unique. The UDP packet uses port 9.
Note that the delivery of a UDP packet is not guaranteed. You may need to send more than one Wake-on-LAN packet if you are using a busy network.
Finding out your MAC address
If you are running Windows, your MAC address will be revealed when you type ipconfig /all into a command prompt. You'll be looking for a line similar to this:

Writing the Wake-on-LAN Java program
Let's write a simple program to do Wake-on-LAN.

today i prepared sabji with some awkward combination and guess what the taste was awesome..!
it is one my best veg subji i cooked so far,, mmmm...i love it...! full satisfaction..!
by the way, let me tell you the recipie, if you wanna cooked
its a combination of baigan(brinjal) + methi + palak (sorry i dont remember the english name here :-))
use only mirchi, thats it...preparation is so easy and the taste is so amazing..but i forgot to take a snap of it..
Mooh me paani aa raha hai kya..better luck next time..

Nagpur....the orange city..!
Nagpur to be the first solar city
In February 2009, government announced that Nagpur in Maharashtra will be developed as India's first solar city.
Nagpur, the 'Orange City', will become a model solar city by 2012, deriving up to 10 per cent of its energy consumption through renewable energy sources and implementing other energy efficiency measures, a government statement said.
The city can also opt for additional funding from the ministry if the project cost goes beyond the estimates.
Solar energy systems, including street lights, garden lights, traffic lights, hoardings and solar water heaters will be installed in the city. Energy efficient 'green buildings' will be promoted on a large scale.

i don't understand...why people will use this word? is it kind of regular
word they gonna use in their life..or just want to hurt other people
and show their superiority..!

Its time come to think, decide and move further in life, enough with

Last Sunday, my wife, kid and I had to travel to Andheri from Bandra. When I waved at a passing auto rickshaw, little did I expect that this ride would be any different.
As we set off, my eyes fell on a few magazines (kept in an aircraft style pouch) behind the driver's back rest. I looked in front and there was a small TV. The driver had put on the Doordarshan channel. My wife and I looked at each other with disbelief and amusement. In front of me was a small first-aid box with cotton, dettol and some medicines. This was enough for me to realise that I was in a special vehicle. Then I looked around again, and discovered more -there was a radio, fire extinguisher, wall clock, calendar, and pictures and symbols of all faiths - from Islam and Christianity to Buddhism, Hinduism and Sikhism. There were also pictures of the heroes of 26/11- Kamte, Salaskar, Karkare and Unnikrishnan. I realised that not only my vehicle, but also my driver was special.
I started chatting with him and the initial sense of ridicule and disbelief gradually diminished. I gathered that he had been driving an auto rickshaw for the past 8-9 years; he had lost his job when his employer's plastic company was shut down. He had two school-going children, and he drove from 8 in the morning till 10 at night. No break unless he was unwell. "Sahab, ghar mein baith ke TV dekh kar kya faida? Do paisa income karega toh future mein kaam aayega." (Sir, what's the use of simply sitting at home and watching TV? If I earn some income, then it will be useful in the future.)
We realised that we had come across a man who represents Mumbai - the spirit of work, the spirit of travel and the spirit of excelling in life. I asked him whether he does anything else as I figured that he did not have too much spare time. He said that he goes to an old age home for women in Andheri once a week or whenever he has some extra income, where he donates tooth brushes, toothpastes, soap, hair oil, and other items of daily use. He pointed out to a painted message below the meter that read: "25 per cent discount on metered fare for the handicapped. Free rides for blind passengers up to Rs50?. He also said that his auto was mentioned on Radio Mirchi twice by the station RJs. The Marathi press in Mumbai know about him and have written a few pieces on him and his vehicle.
My wife and I were struck with awe. The man was a HERO! A hero who deserves all our respect. I know that my son, once he grows up, will realise that we have met a genuine hero. He has put questions to me such as why should we help other people? I will try to keep this incident alive in his memory.
Our journey came to an end; 45 minutes of a lesson in humility, selflessness and of a hero-worshipping Mumbai - my temporary home. We disembarked, and all I could do was to pay him a tip that would hardly cover a free ride for a blind man.

I am perplexed, tensed but still i'm...!
I generally write a blogs, when i am unable to tell my feelings to some one(Here some one still is question mark for me ???).
Does it necessary to my problems to others or at least dear ones.? again '?'. i don't know but i need to get this answer as soon as possible..!. but again next things will be why to disturb others by telling my problems? I don't know what is really happening .."Life is full of Ques marks...as many you solved than much more it arrived after solving".
Today my day was so much horrible, it started with BIG fight with my managers, colleague, clients, almost everybody..don't worry its not personal fight all are purely technical :P....but its part of job, i didn't worried much..I came home early and thought of relaxing, had dinner and thought of having nice sleep( as i need to woke up tomorrow early morning to launch one of my product remotely in Brazil at 3A.M.), but unfortunately i got one bad news from my sister that "my bro hasn't cleared IIM interview, felt very bad" i was thinking of some body will be there at least from our family to tell that my bro is from IIM and earning ~5lakhs month, but no luck...! i didn't even called him, don't wanted to see him crying as he tried at best to get..almost crossed all the interviews but fails at the final round. i don't know the reason.
But whatever is happened, its very bad till now in my life so far, since almost all the others got their degrees, education, jobs, sort of settled, but this bro, i don't know what he will do now?
I'm afraid of "he should not start net cafe and all". Hey GOD PLEASE HELP ME....
Now next comes the "Sharing your personal and professional problems with others" but is really required to tell these to others? i know some problems can sort out by sharing but most important thing here is to do this at the right time sometimes, otherwise don't tell to others...! what is the point in disturbing them..??
Sometime i feel nobody is there for me to understand me or my problem, every time i am the one who understand them, don't know why...? this needs to be sort out as soon as possible...! otherwise it will blast on others, and nobody will be able to guess the outcomes..

My mumma, thinking of what I will do after my sister's marriage?
I never seen her so much tense, but she never showed me any sign of it...! that's the mom is..! I am perplexed..Am i doing right? i don't want to hurt anyone..that's what i did till now and will do till the end..I am lacking in balancing the things, but still learning it...! Don't know what gonna happen..!
for a person who doesnt care for other's calls ..! How can they care a person..?
I don't know ki why some people in life are so crazy, doesn't even bother about somebody calling, need to call back or SMS at least. I know everybody is busy in their life with something or someone will have their own issues to be solved on high priority..but it doesn't meant that they stop talking with others. Sometimes calling might help in solving their own problems , but some people are so lazy , some are definitely Kanjoosh, they don't wanna spend their money..
But think about the people when they call you at certain moment, it may be a day or night, doesn't matter, the time they call you, wanted to tell something,wanted to share something good to make you happy or bad to share their sorrow. it you don't care of it, then you are not being a part of it...!!
Sometime people will think, just talking over a phone doesn't help so they ignored, but they cant even think of the other options to...so much of lazy people...!
bottom line is: if you care for a person, they will care you more, otherwise its just a compromise in life...Point here is why to make compromise, if we can try to do something to make our life better.
The reason for writing such a blog at this moment is making me think for a while, i could have been written this blog long time back, but one bad experience happened yesterday, made me crazy to write it now
One of my best friend in VJTI suddenly called me after a long time, he thought of calling to other friend who is also my best friend in VJTI, but the height here is he save my number with his name..! and this call was just like a luck for me , is this means m i so crazy for waiting his call? he talked with me not for a more than 5 min, might be he need to rush away due to some imp things. after this, he called to my other friend and talking like he wanted to meet and will be there in mumbai for 1 hour only, so wanna meet? as if he is like PM and dont have a time for friend now,even after spending 4 years together...! then blah blah....
My other friend asked him why you are not calling ..he told some bullshit reason like his life is with "some rough patches from last 3 years"...see such a nice reason..! it means our life is so amazing without any patches...! if you dont have reason then dont tell anything, but it doesnt mean you tell the reason like this....!
SO IN WHICH CATEGORY YOU BELONG...?...!

Ek Bindhaast Ladki..! train me mili :P
Generally my journey in train while going home is somewhat boring most of the times, but this time(12-14 June 09) was excellent..! Its not only because i met one nice girl(one advantage - she is marathi), but during sucha short moments she become my very very good friends. i met while going home, there was one more marathi family along with her, and i was bit tired so didnt get a chance to talk much (usually i do :P) and it was just a coincident, i met her again while comming from Napur.
At the Nagpur station, i just scremed at her, ki why you met me again(but from heart i was feeling its good that u met me again). i asked her seat number, again there was one more coincidence, her seat is in my berth(feeling very very happy from inside )..
She started talking without even asking my name and i even didnt feel to ask her name, she was such a "bindhast girl", first surprize me with a good news of her Shadi got fixed , then told all these arrange marriage stories, her family, her would be, his nature blah blah, even about how she managed to wore saaree whole day.. :-)
I was feeling damn hungry, expressed the same to her,on this, she gave me very very nice idea, that i didnt even think of..i was so dumb(usually girl make the guys dumb, this is an excellent example :P) and she was even ready to share her dubba too, later i called i mom to bring a dubba for me. and then we had a very very nice dinner (Aalu palak,Dum aalu , bhendi masala, and AAm ras, Gulabjaaa, but she forgot to give me sweet :-).)
then we had a chit chat up to 12 pm...she was not even getting bored or tired of my chats.might be she is doing TP or like that only (who cares).
I told all these to my dear, she told ki line maar rahi thi tuze, but how can she dare to do ? after her marriage got fixed. I know my dear was kidding..

the most terrible weekend...
i did nothing except eat,sleep and cricket..finally my legs are paining, feeling feverish.. hey GOD please take care of my lazzyness please..didnt even talk to anybody..Tried calling some of my friends but they didnt even bother about a call or missed call. finally i decide not ever to call these peoples unless they call me..what they think of themselves, they only have home, family and dont even bother about friends.

Its time to change...!
Its time to change...!
Feeling awkward, disturbed, feverish, culprit...today...!
Can i ask the GOD, why did i took such decision?
Why did i believe on one who doesn't even believe on me at least 1% even :-(
Hey GOD please forgive me if i hurt any one ?
There are lots of question running in my mind. but still no answer, some answers are partial. when will i get all these answers? did i do anything wrong with any one? then why its happening with me only?
Shall i took a wrong step in my life? to be more precise Personal life. is it going to hurt anybody? i don't have any intention to hurt anybody's life. i am so simple, doesn't even dare to think of it.then WHY some people are not believing on me?
I cant tell these things to other people only my dear one can understood. but they are help less... So GOD where should i go? give me the path...!
So whats outcome of all these crap..to come out of these ? or to believe blindly and stay till you get the result... OHH..!! GOD..! Please help me...

आई एक वरदान...!!!
ते आईचं ओरडणं,
लाडाने बोलणं,
पक्षी दाखवत खाऊ घालणं,
डोळ्यांतून अश्रू येताच त्यांना पुसणं,
स्वत:ला दोष देऊन मुलांना हसत-खेळत ठेवणं.
असं वाटतं लहानपण कधी
पुढे जाऊच नये.
कधीतरी वाटतं नुसतं मोठं होण्याचं
स्वप्नच बघत रहावं
आणि....
ते स्वप्न कधी खरं झालं हे कळलचं नाही
उगाच मोठं होतो ना!

its my 28th Birthday today..!
Birthdays comes once in a year and someone must celebrate it..! but i donno why this time i felt not to celebrate it. :-)..! it doesnt mean a bIG party and all..Its just cake cutting & get together thats it. But that too i decided not to do this time, the reason might be the work, heat(which i hate most),etc..
The most imp reason was my dear one is not with me :-) ..guess who ? any luck ..no only my dear one can guess...!! hahah ...its nothing like that too..sorry it is ..just kidding ...!
Actually i believe the celebration means not just the go outside and have nice food or go to BARS and drunk heavily till you pour..!! its just the get together with your friends and beloved one where you had the best conversation in ur life..!!
This time i thought i will be with my parents after my HSC. but that too didnt happened..So better luck next time "BALLU" ..ab yeh kon hai mat poochna pppppppleasssssssssss...
I got 3 SMS from my friends and 2 from third parties(one frm HDFC and one from IIL- india infoline where i still have my 1300 Rs share:-) )
and 32 scrap from orkut and only one from facebook :-( :-(..
and 8 callss ... ohh my god poora din ismehi gaya..now time to work :-(

I wish you enough!!!
Recently I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments
together at the airport. They had announced the departure.
Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the mother said, 'I
love you, and I wish you enough.'
The daughter replied, 'Mum, our life together has been more than
enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Mum.'
They kissed and the daughter left. The mother walked over to the
window where I was seated.. Standing there I could see she wanted and
needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on her privacy, but she welcomed
me in by asking, 'Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it
would be forever?'
'Yes, I have,' I replied. 'Forgive me for asking, but why is this a
forever good-bye?'.
'I am old, and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the
reality is - the next trip back will be for my funeral,' she said.
'When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, 'I wish you enough.'
May I ask what that means?'
She began to smile. 'That's a wish that has been handed down from
other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone.' She paused
a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail, and she
smiled even more. 'When we said, 'I wish you enough,' we were wanting
the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to
sustain them.' Then turning toward me, she shared the following as if
she were reciting it from memory.
I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray
the day may appear.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.
I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may
appear bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.
She then began to cry and walked away.
They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to
appreciate them, a day to love them; but then an entire life to forget
them..

Dekhte dekhte 4 saal gujar jaane walie hain
I was just thinking after the call ki "Dekhte dekhte 4 saal gujarne wale hai..., but still our relation is on hanging stage" ...It should have some meaningful name by this time.
i know what you wanted to tell and you also know what i wanted to told you ..BHOLI mat bann..!!, i know you very well the same applicable to me too...but somehow you was unable to told, i donno the reason why you didnt told . But i told you directly ki i have some commitments but you never accepted it. but very imp things i wanted to tell you now is we need to take some decision once u come to my home and meet my entire family. Answer will be in HAAA & NAAA and no HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM..!!
So we have time upto July.. now its upto you and me altogether how we need to move.
if your minds changes before this, i cant help, and i can only say it will be gud for your future only..!!!

Mini and Avinash came to know each other through a common friend…. They started with small chats over emails which moved on to sms. Later it was extended phone calls… Then one fine day Mini realized she was in love with Avinash… But this was not a good news for her… Her priorities were different and she couldn’t afford to fall in love with anyone… There is no space for love in her life… She had other commitments towards her parents… Moreover Avinash was from a different caste…. Her parents would never accept this relation… And she can never upset them…

There are quite a lot changes in me in 2009...!
first thing i started in this year to woke up early morning, it doesn't mean before 6'O clock in the morning, its around 7am.
Once i woke up early, i used to light a Agarbatti, this is one of the most important thing i wanted to do from a long time, but somehow i used to start doing it.
Then i will reach office by 9am(even if there is no work :-) )
But most of the time, i used to have work and in the early morning i can do better work up to 11am, since most of my colleague will come after 11 am :(..!
Also on the day of Mahashivaratri, i am doing fast. Now the time is 1.32pm and i am thinking of breaking it by 4pm. i had prepared a Poha, but one of my friend told that its not meant for UPAAS. She suggested me to take a chips. Let me try that option too..
Otherwise its ok to have Poha :-)...!

Jannant - movie review..!
Rab ne kya movie banaya hai..kasmse ..Itna bindhast love, i appreciate it.
Its movie for the people like me :-). Actress is amazing, the way she speaks, laugh, attitude, nature, looks ,aahahah..kamal ka..!
Agar aisi koi ladki mil jaaye, to life kamaal me mast masti karenge..!
One thing i liked about the Emraan hashmi, his luck is so good, whatever the movie he worked for is the best along with the awesome music, even if people doesnt like the movie , they will like the music at least. It compromise the movie story too ultimately overall movie will be good.

spending 3 days alone in hyderabad :-)
i donno how to spend three day holidays in HYDERABAD :-)
first day of the holiday started badly, no Kaamwali baai, had lots of utensil to wash,
forget about cloths n other stuffs. Just finished lunch, ordered from outside, dont even dare to cook..who will clean the utensils yaar.
But i am now going to wash all, ultimately i dont like dependancies..!

Why do people write a blog.???
Why do people write a blog.???
The first thing will come to your mind is people have enough time to do this. They might wanted to share their thought, but it can be shared with the beloved once too.
Some people wannna make impression on some of the person so they doo...!!
Some people will think of writing it as an electronic diary, sounds crazy na... kya kare boss e-nternet ka zamana hai..!!! aisa to hoga hi na...!!
Some people wanted to keep it for a momento :-)
but i feel writing something means not only to express,share but to remove some of the burdens from our mind....! in hindi, Gussa thuk do, pii jaao or write down somewhere,,,again u might be thinking it as crazy thing..but sometime u need to become, otherwise there is no fun in LIFE :-)

Some of the major Drawback and some advantanges associated with Indian Railway
There are some drawback associated with IRCTC...
Train is same, endpoints are same but for onwards journey Train name is "NIZAMUDDIN" express and for downward journey train name is "DAKSHIN". Name doesn't matters much but think about the people who are not aware of Nizamuddin is part of Delhi.
If you book a e-ticket on internet and if its not cleared , it will get canceled automatically and money will be refunded to your account automatically with the deduction in reservation charges. Here refund thing is very good, but think about the people who don't know this and they need to cancel their trip. If it is the rule for E-Ticket , the same can be applicable to I-Ticket too.
One more and very important things about TATKAL ticket.
While booking tatkal ticket, we don't have a provision to make boarding point and boarding date on our choice. Whatever the date you specified as date of journey, the same will be boarding point and whatever the source you selected.
One good thing about this is you don't need to go to IR and book a ticket, its all online now and ticket booking will start before 5 days.Also it will not charge you the full amount. It will be charged according to your source and destination you selected.!!!

Was Lucky on 31st Dec Eve...!!
ME and my friend decided to go for a Dinner on new year night. It was Kasaani GR, Madhapur.
Its very near to our Office, so we thought of going by Gyaara number ki Bus..:-)
Don't get confused..its by walk..!!! Hahahahhahhhh..!!!
We started walking...way was dark...Suddenly an array of Buffalos was coming from back side, we heard the sound and just took aside..and on the right side there was four wheeler coming and on there was wall on the left side..Somehow me and my friend survieved from buffalos attack.otherwise i was definitely into the hospital today :)
Thanks to God..!!!!
